The Golden Pomfret's natural taste is something to be celebrated—little to no seasoning will compliment it best. It's prized for being one of the few non-fishy tasting fish, with its flat shape, subtle sweet taste and firm texture.
INTERESTING FACT ABOUT POMFRET:
The bigger the pomfret is, it is most costly as the meat is considered more flavourful and it is great for banquets.
350-450g is recommended for family of 2-3.
600-700g is recommended for family of 4-5.
